Young drivers are over-represented in road statistics. While inexperience, risk-taking and busy lifestyles contribute to road trauma, the higher proportion of younger drivers in older cars makes young people more vulnerable to road crashes and injury. In 2022, Re:act aims to raise awareness of the benefits of purchasing safer vehicles, and to make safety part of the conversation when young drivers are buying a vehicle.
