Amplifying the voice of young Australians in road safety
Re:act Amplify aims to give young Australians a voice in road safety. Across a series of events throughout August, 17-25 year old Australian students and workers will discuss issues and share knowledge and insights on road safety issues affecting them with government, industry and road and workplace safety agencies to ‘amplify’ young people’s voices in road safety and highlight how to make road and workplace safety messages more engaging for young people.
Peer-to-peer road safety education and awareness. Communication and graphic design students create campaigns to raise awareness and change the behaviours of 17-25 year olds on the road.
"The Re:act program is a wonderful connector of generations, skill sets and ideas that inspires real answers to serious challenges."
Ben Maguire, CEO, Australian Trucking Association
"Road deaths are the leading killer of young people from 5-29 around the world, so we absolutely need to create campaigns that prioritise our youth.”
Kate Turner, FIA Foundation Media & Public Affairs Manager
